When you step into a session with me, you’re not just getting physiotherapy—you’re embarking on a personalized journey toward better movement, health, and performance. I combine my extensive experience in biomechanics and sports rehabilitation to craft a treatment plan tailored to your needs, whether you’re recovering from a major surgery or simply aiming to move without pain.

From our very first session, I take the time to understand your unique situation. I carefully assess your movement patterns, listen to your history, and explain the “why” behind your pain or injury. With my background as a published biomechanics researcher, you’ll receive the latest evidence-based treatment, not just a one-size-fits-all approach. Clear communication is key for me—I want to ensure that you fully understand what’s happening with your body so you can actively participate in your recovery.

For athletes recovering from complex surgeries, like ACL reconstructions or Achilles tendon repairs, I bring my experience working with elite and youth-level athletes into every session. Whether you’re aiming to return to the football field, hockey rink, or simply live pain-free, you can trust my approach. I’ve helped many individuals overcome injuries where traditional rehab fell short, often providing second opinions that make all the difference in their recovery.

My approach is hands-on. I use manual therapy and functional dry-needling to target areas of discomfort or dysfunction. I also emphasize activity-specific exercises that align with your goals—whether that’s getting back into competition or simply enjoying your daily life without limitations. Every exercise I prescribe is customized to ensure it’s right for your body and objectives, not just a routine to follow.

More than just a therapist, I see myself as a coach. I guide you through the rehabilitation process, educating you on the mechanics of your injury and how to prevent future setbacks. My ultimate goal is to empower you to take control of your own health, so you can move confidently and get back to doing what you love—whether that’s playing sports, running, or enjoying time with your family.

With my thoughtful, evidence-driven approach and passion for optimizing human movement, you’ll feel equipped to tackle any physical challenge ahead of you.

Hi I’m Jerri-lyn Chisholm. I am a born and raised Calgarian. Growing up I played many different sports volleyball, rugby, flag football and basketball. Basketball became my main sport and something I pursued all through college at SAIT and Olds. Playing sports led me to find passion in helping others overcome injuries, reduce pain and look for ways to improve movement for a better life. Before massage therapy I was a personal trainer and loved being able to help others reach their goals. Personal training was a great stepping stone into massage therapy as I love the complexity of the human body. Over the last 10 years of working as a massage therapist I have been able to help many people through injuries, surgeries, and overall help people feel better. Massage therapy has allowed me to gain knowledge about the body with taking different courses such as Myofascial cupping, Fascial Stretch therapy, Somatic Exercise, Darby training system level 1 and many more to come. I enjoy working with all different types of people whether you are a young athlete, adult athlete, rehabbing an injury, or new to working out. I enjoy listening to understand you and your needs and helping you improve mobility, range of motion in joints or simply wanting to relax and unwind from life. Working with the body as a whole is my speciality and finding a therapy that works for you and your body to be at its best. In my spare time I enjoy working out, playing basketball, spending time with my two cats and soaking up all that life has to offer. Education and growth are very important for me and I look forward to working with you to improve your bodies function and reaching goals.

Nathan graduated as a massage therapist in 2016 in Ontario. His journey toward massage therapy began as a competitor in Red Bull Crashed Ice in 2010, 2011, and 2013. Experiencing his first-ever massage from a sports massage therapist on-site helped him perform better on the track and sparked his interest in the field.

Nathan has been practicing massage therapy for nearly four years. He brings over 20 years of high-level sports experience, including AAA and Jr. C hockey, as well as a strong background in track and field. His passion for athletics extends to a wide variety of sports, which informs his understanding of movement and performance.

From a therapeutic perspective, Nathan has developed a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection over the past four years. He understands that every individual responds differently to treatment, which creates unique challenges and opportunities when crafting personalized treatment plans. While some cases may follow a predictable pattern, Nathan believes in maintaining an open mind to adapt to each client’s specific needs and healing process.

Nathan’s massages often incorporate a combination of passive, active, and resisted movements. This approach allows him to isolate and address individual muscles effectively while creating a comfortable experience for the client. This method not only helps muscles and joints improve their range of motion but also facilitates the mind’s ability to accept deeper pressure when needed to achieve optimal results.

Nathan is passionate about the human body’s complexity and potential. He emphasizes the importance of staying active and eating well as the foundation for maintaining physical and mental well-being over the long term.

When you book a massage with Nathan, you can expect a thoughtful, tailored approach rooted in his extensive experience, passion for movement, and commitment to helping you achieve your specific goals.

Growing up in contact sports, I spent countless hours on rugby and lacrosse fields, and almost as many hours in rehabilitation. After missing portions of seasons and receiving poor rehabilitation advice, I became frustrated. It was then that I developed a deep passion for understanding the human body and how to help others do the same. I have learned firsthand the importance of optimizing movement to reduce injury risk and believe profoundly that injury is an opportunity to enhance performance and come back stronger than ever.

As a born-and-raised Calgarian, my academic journey started at the University of Calgary, where I earned a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation in 2016. Eager to deepen my knowledge, I completed my Masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2019. I put a pause on my pursuit of a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy in the fall of 2023 to welcome my daughter, Sidalee.

In my practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals, from youth athletes and weekend warriors to professional athletes in the CFL, NLL, and EHL. I’m especially passionate about ACL rehabilitation and enjoy the challenges and complexities this injury brings. I’m also deeply invested in the performance and injury risk mitigation of female athletes. I believe that education and empowerment about their own physiology is key to helping female athletes thrive in their sports and beyond.

As a certification IMS practitioner, I incorporate needling techniques alongside other manual therapy to complement a movement-based approach to recovery and performance. All clients receive comprehensive education on their injury and a detailed pathway towards recovery.

When I’m not in the clinic, I’m spending time with my partner Wes, our daughter, and our two dogs, sharing our love for movement and staying active together. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, seeking to enhance your athletic performance, or looking to maintain your health, I’m here to guide you through every step of the journey.

I completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta after graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s in Commerce and Psychology.

I have experience managing post-operative rehabilitation for knees and hips, including ACL reconstructions, total joint replacements, as well as non-surgical rehabilitation for a wide variety of injuries including Achilles ruptures. I enjoy working with a wide variety of injuries and people.

Having previously experienced a variety of injuries myself, I understand the importance of both post-injury rehabilitation and preventative training. I enjoy the wide scope that physiotherapy has to offer, being able to work with individuals of all ages and activity backgrounds. I emphasize a holistic and patient-centered approach to treatment through exercise prescription, education, and manual therapy, as I am a strong believer that a balanced active lifestyle is key for enhancing quality of life.

My prior involvement in teaching violin and coaching skiing have allowed me to appreciate the importance of customizing a lesson or treatment plan in order to optimally meet an individual’s needs and goals.

I have completed additional training in Functional Dry Needling and continue to take post-grad courses to improve my ability to help clients obtain meaningful results.

Outside the clinic, I stay active through strength training, skiing, and playing racquet sports. You can also find me playing as a violinist, running around with my dog, and trying new restaurants with friends and family.
